Minister Klimkin to lead Ukrainian delegation at tripartite gas talks in Berlin
A Ukrainian delegation at the tripartite talks with Russia and the European Union on the terms of gas transportation will be led by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin.
Russia's Energy Minister Alexander Novak and representatives of Russia's Gazprom and Ukraine's Naftogaz of Ukraine will also participate in consultations at the EU Delegation in Berlin on July 17, according to an announcement on the official website of the Council of the European Union.
As Interfax-Ukraine learnt from own sources, NJSC Naftogaz at the talks will be represented by its CEO Andriy Kobolyev.
Vice-President of the European Commission for Energy Union Maros Sefcovic considers the tripartite process to be the most effective platform for finding solutions to gas issues and gas transit through Ukraine after 2019.
