NATO, Ukraine urge Russia to withdraw troops from Ukrainian territories
NATO and Ukraine have reiterated the call on Russia to withdraw its troops from Ukrainian territories, support the Normandy format and implement the Minsk agreements to settle the situation in Donbas, reads a statement on Ukraine-NATO relations.
"Allies and Ukraine reaffirmed their support for the settlement of the conflict by diplomatic means in accordance with the Minsk Agreements and welcomed the efforts of the Normandy format in this regard," reads a statement adopted at the summit of the leaders of NATO member states in Brussels on Thursday.
NATO and Ukraine called on Russia to withdraw its forces and to cease all political, financial and military support to the Russian-led militants in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
