Court on Yanukovych high treason case to continue on June 21
The Obolonsky District Court of Kyiv will continue considering the case on charges of ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych of high treason on June 21.
At a meeting on Friday, the court heard an interrogation as a witness via video link from occupied Crimea of former guard from the Office of State Protection of Ukraine, Volodymyr Pavlenko.
After that, presiding judge Vladyslav Deviatko said that the court is awaiting the next witnesses of the defense on June 21, June 22, June 26 and June 27. The court intends to conduct interrogations of witnesses on July 16-20.
The judge reminded the participants of the trial that a judicial debate was scheduled for July 30, which is the last stage before the court's decision.
