The fire in the exclusion zone (the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant) has been contained on a total area of about two hectares, according to the press office of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"The situation is under control. There is no open fire, there are two seats of fire smoldering on forest litter, grass, fallen trees and stumps. Thirty-five units of equipment and 150 people were involved in putting out the fire, including 22 units of equipment and 130 people from the State Emergency Service," according to the official website of the State Emergency Service.
