Ukrainian Red Cross Society assists rescuers in extinguishing fire in Mykolaiv region
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) supported rescuers in extinguishing a large-scale fire in Mykolaiv region.
“Volunteers of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society rapid response team in Mykolaiv region this morning worked at the site of the large-scale fire that broke out... as a result of a Russian combined attack,” the URCS reported on Facebook on Sunday.
The volunteers patrolled the area to identify victims, accompanied rescuers during firefighting in case first aid was needed, and provided firefighters with water.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, a 2,000-square-meter warehouse caught fire as a result of a Russian combined strike on Mykolaiv region, agricultural machinery was damaged.
