Ukraine should take care of journalist Babchenko's family – Gerashchenko

Ukrainian MP Anton Gerashchenko, who is a member of the board of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, has said he is confident that those guilty of the murder of journalist Arkady Babchenko will be established and also proposed that his family be provide with tutelage.

"I am confident that those who ordered, organized and executed this despicable act of terrorism will be punished," he wrote on his Facebook page on Wednesday.

Gerashchenko also added: "Arkady Babchenko's family should be taken under the care of Ukraine."

According to the information distributed in social media, Babchenko has six foster children, whose guardian is his mother, Yulia Babchenko. Children live with her in a rented three-room apartment.
