Updated lists of persons who fall under personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) have been published on the website of the Ukrainian president.
In particular, sanctions were imposed on 1,748 individuals and 756 legal entities, whereas a year ago there were 1,228 individuals and 468 legal entities on the sanctions lists.
New individuals on the list include Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller, billionaires Oleg Deripaska, Igor Rotenberg, Suleyman Kerimov, Vladimir Bogdanov, Viktor Vekselberg, and VTB Bank Chairman Andrey Kostin, who were subject to U.S. sanctions in early April 2018.
