A group of Ukrainian MPs have proposed that the name of Kirovohrad region be changed to Kropyvnytsky region in the Constitution of Ukraine.
The respective bill (No. 8380) introducing amendments to Article 133 of the Constitution of Ukraine was registered in parliament on May 18. Its text was published on the website of the Verkhovna Rada on Monday, May 21.
As stipulated by the procedure for amending the country's main law, this bill was initiated by over 150 people's deputies.
