Donetsk Filtration Station's work once again halted after attack
The operations of the Donetsk Filtration Station were once again suspended on Thursday evening after the facility came under fire, the press service of Ukraine's State Emergency Situations Service said.
"The operations at the Donetsk Filtration Station, which supplies water to Avdiyivka (which has a population of around 22,000 people) were halted at around 9:40 p.m. on May 17 after a shelling attack damaged an electrical control room in the chemicals section's building," it said.
Water will be supplied to local households from a reservoir by the hour.
Water supplies from the Donetsk Filtration Station are expected to be restored on Friday.
