OSCE rep notes truce violations near Donetsk water filtration plant in Donbas

The ceasefire on the contact line in Donbas has not been observed, including near the Donetsk water filtration plant, the OSCE said.

Despite the parties' guarantees, ceasefire violations near the plant are continuing, Martin Sajdik, the OSCE special representative to negotiations of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on Ukraine, told reporters.

He once again urged the parties to ensure the plant's continuous operation and promised to raise this issue at the security subgroup's video conference next week.

The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission is also concerned about the growing number of civilian casualties, he said, urging the parties to do their utmost to avoid hurting civilians.
