Germany to allocate EUR 14.3 mln for new joint project with UNICEF to improve access to water for Donbas people
The German Federal Government has granted the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) an additional EUR 14.3 million for a new project aimed at improving access to water for citizens who live along the demarcation line in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
Now we are starting a new project with UNICEF, the one we will present today, which will bring additional funding from Germany at the level of EUR 14.3 million and it concerns water infrastructure in Donbas and should guarantee access to water to 2.5 million people in Eastern Ukraine in 2018-2019, Deputy Head of the German Embassy to Ukraine Wolfgang Bindseil said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.
