Justice Ministry appeals to G7 countries ambassadors, U.S. Justice Dept due to pressure on ministry from NABU
The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has said that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) is pressuring the ministry and complains about the pressure and appeals with a statement on violation of the legislative norms by the NABU to the ambassadors of the G7 countries and the U.S. Justice Department, the first deputy head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Justice, Natalia Bernatska has said.
"We also address the G7 ambassadors with information about what is happening with the story of the case and the illegal actions of the Anti-Corruption Bureau today in the building of the Ministry of Justice. We also appeal to the United States Department of Justice who say they have a cooperation agreement with the Anti-Corruption Bureau, and declare that the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine is pressured by NABU and their actions do not meet any norms of either national or international law," Bernatska said a briefing in Kyiv on Friday.
