Lukashenko's attendance of Eastern Partnership summit would send good message
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko's possible participation in an upcoming Eastern Partnership summit in Brussels could send a good message, German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel said.
"Brussels is due to host an Eastern Partnership summit soon. Belarus will also be represented there. There is high hope that the president himself will be able to come to it," Gabriel told reporters in Minsk on Friday, adding that it could send a good message.
An Eastern Partnership summit is due to be held in Brussels on November 24.
