Klimkin informs Gabriel about extremely tense situation in eastern Ukraine

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has informed his German counterpart Sigmar Gabriel about the difficult situation in eastern Ukraine.

"Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin informs Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel about the situation in eastern Ukraine. The situation remains extremely tense," the German Federal Foreign Office reported on Twitter.

As reported, early on Thursday, the foreign ministers of the two countries canceled their trip to Donbas because of adverse weather conditions. Instead of Mariupol, they left for Dnipro.
