Peacekeepers' introduction not yet subject of Minsk talks - OSCE special representative
The Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine did not discuss the introduction of peacekeepers to the Donbas conflict zone and severance of diplomatic relations between Kyiv and Moscow, Martin Sajdik, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) special representative in the TCG, said.
"No, this issue [a peacekeeping mission] was not discussed because this topic is not a subject matter of the talks," Sajdik told journalists in Minsk on Wednesday.
"I can say that so far it is not a topic of negotiation," he added.
Nor has the group touched on the subject of a possible severance of diplomatic relations between Russia and Ukraine, he said. "I hope wisdom in this issue will prevail," Sajdik said.
