Sybiha congratulates Finland on OSCE chairmanship in 2025
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha congratulated Finland and Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen on the OSCE chairmanship in 2025.
“Congratulations to Finland and Elina Valtonen on the 2025 OSCE Chairpersonship. I look forward to welcoming you to Ukraine. In the run-up to the Helsinki Final Act 50th anniversary, we will work together to achieve a just peace for Ukraine and put an end to Russian aggression,” Sybiha said on X.
On January 1, Finland begins its one-year term as Chairman of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
Thus, incumbent OSCE Chairperson is Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen.
This summer will also mark the 50th anniversary of the Helsinki Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe, which served as the basis for the creation of the OSCE.
