Rada to begin considering medical reform at second reading next week
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will begin considering draft laws on medical reform at the second reading next week, on October 17-20, Parliament Speaker Andriy Parubiy has said.
"Next week, we will turn to the last of the major reforms – the medical one," the speaker said during a presentation of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) programs in Kyiv on Wednesday.
Parubiy said that the draft medical reform caused the greatest debate, and added that the parliament is aware of the risks that may arise when implementing it.
"But I really believe and I hope that we will be able to deal with the issues with dignity and come up with a positive solution," the speaker said.
