Militants shell ATO forces positions 13 times on Monday
Militants of illegal armed formations have shelled the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone 13 times on Monday, the ATO headquarters press center reported.
"At the end of the past day, the situation in the ATO zone continued to be tense, but it was controlled by the Ukrainian army. After 18:00, pro-Russian militants increased of shelling our positions in the Prymorske and Donetsk sectors... All in all, illegal armed groups violated the truce 13 times yesterday. Servicemen of the ATO forces opened fire eleven times. There have been no losses among our defenders," the press center said in a statement on Facebook.
In the Donetsk sector, after 18.00, militants fired at the outskirts of Avdiyivka and Mayorsk from large-caliber machine guns, while Zhovanka and Butovka mine were shelled from grenade launchers.
In the Prymorske sector, militants fired at Vodiane and Talakivka from large-caliber machine guns, while Lebedynsky was shelled from 82-mm-caliber mortars.
