Some 120 soldiers currently in Ukrainian pretrial detention facilities
There are currently 120 Ukrainian servicemen in pretrial detention centers suspected of committing crimes, an official for the Military Service of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Serhiy Chastiuk has said.
"According to available information, at present more than 120 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are detained in detention centers on the territory of Ukraine pursuant to court rulings. There are more than 100 servicemen in these facilities in Donetsk and Luhansk regions," he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Friday.
According to Chastiuk, the number of complaints from servicemen about violations during their detention and conducting investigative actions has recently increased.
