Explosions rock almost half of ammunition warehouse facility in Balaklia, may continue for up to a week
Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman says explosions have spread to about half of the territory occupied by the ammunition warehouse facility located in Balaklia, Kharkiv region. He added the situation could last from three to seven days.
"About half of the ammunition storage facilities are on fire. We can see several days, from three to seven, may be needed before the situation becomes clear," Groysman told journalists in Kharkiv region.
Groysman said he expects Kharkiv regional administration to submit an additional funds request to from the government's reserve fund to cover damages from disaster, adding they would be given "quickly."
