Interpol may put Yanukovych on wanted list again in late Jan
Interpol may consider the resumption of the international search for ex-president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych at the meetings of the Commission for the Control of Files on January 26-29, Head of the Interpol National Central Bureau in Ukraine Vasyl Nevolia has said.
"There are two aspects in Yanukovych's case. One is Maidan, in this case a decision was taken to deny putting him on a wanted list. And the second involves economic crimes. This issue hasn't been resolved yet due to his complaint," Nevolia said the hotline with the readers of the "Komsomolskaya Pravda in Ukraine" newspaper on Thursday answering a question from Interfax-Ukraine.
He admitted that this matter will also be considered by the Interpol Commission for the Control of Files at its meetings on January 26-29.
