Poroshenko condemns attack on civilians in center of Germany

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said he is shocked by the news of an attack on a Christmas market in the center of Berlin.

"The Ukrainians are praying for the innocent victims of the tragedy and condemn this devilish act of violence that can have no justification," Poroshenko wrote on Twitter.

At least nine people were killed when a truck plowed into a crowd at a Christmas market in center of Berlin, near the Gedachtniskirche church, on Monday.
