Government approves procedure for submitting proposals for NSDC to impose or annul sanctions
Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has approved the rules of drawing up proposals of the government to impose and amend sanctions.
According to government resolution No. 888 dated November 30 posted on the official website of the Ukrainian government, the rules determine the procedure for drawing up proposals of the government regarding imposing, annulling and amending special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) submitted by the government to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) in pursuant to the law on sanctions.
Power agencies authorized to implement the policy in the area where there are grounds to apply sanctions draw up the proposals on sanctions and submit them to the government.
