U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Nuland to visit Moscow shortly
U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland is due to visit Moscow within days, the U.S. Department of State said.
"U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland will join U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry in Brussels, Belgium on October 4, where he will deliver a speech hosted by the German Marshall Fund on transatlantic relations," the department said in a report.
"She will then travel to Moscow, Russia, to meet with senior Russian government officials to discuss the situation in eastern Ukraine and next steps to implement the Minsk agreements in support of the Normandy countries and the Trilateral Contact Group," it said.
