The Honorary Consulate of Ukraine has begun its work in San Marino, the Consular Service Department of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine reported.
"The Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in the Republic of San Marino started its work on August 1. It which is headed by a citizen of this country, the owner and president of the Italian Association of Forestry, Andrea Negri," the department said in a statement on its Facebook page.
The department said that the main tasks of the Consulate include the provision of free advice and assistance to Ukrainian citizens in case of emergency on the territory of San Marino, as well as to contribute to promoting Ukraine's interests in political and economic areas.
