Cabinet sets Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson territorial departments at Ministry for Occupied Areas
Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has created three territorial departments at the Ministry for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons in Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kherson regions.
This is stipulated in Cabinet resolution No. 495 dated July 13.
The government supported the ministry's idea to set up the territorial departments in areas that are close to the Anti-Terrorist Operation zone and the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
They will work as the ministry's structural subunits and will implement state policy, tackling affairs of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and separate territories in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, where national agencies do not work. Their major task will be to reintegrate such territories and their residents into the single, constitutional space of Ukraine.
