Donetsk, Luhansk impede search for over 500 Ukrainians missing in Donbas
Representatives of separate districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions are impeding the search for missing Ukrainian citizens, Ukraine's representative in the Trilateral Contact Group humanitarian subgroup and Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada's First Deputy Speaker Iryna Gerashchenko said.
"[The militiamen] do not provide information about the detention and location of 112 Ukrainians to us and impede the search for over 600 missing persons. And they say that they have only two dozen hostages in separate districts of Donetsk region and only one in [...]Luhansk region," she wrote on Facebook on Friday.
She also said that Donetsk and Luhansk prevent the release of hostages and demand amnesty for over 600 of "those who have violated Ukrainian law during hostilities."
