Fomenko resigns as manager of Ukraine's national football team
Mykhailo Fomenko has said that he is resigning from his post of the head coach of the Ukrainian national football team after its poor performance at Euro 2016 in France.
"What's the point of continuing to cooperate, if we haven't fulfilled the task which was placed before us? I take responsibility for the lack of results and resign," Fomenko said in an interview posted on the website of the Ukrainian Football Federation on Thursday.
