Three soldiers killed by explosion at Chernihiv training area- General Staff

Two soldiers have been killed and one injured in an explosion of an unknown object at the training ground in the town of Honcharivske, Chernihiv region.

"On June 9, during a break in the course of works at the military training grounds (the town of Honcharovsk, Chernihiv region), at the untested section of the area where the field for targets is located three soldiers made a campfire, which followed by an explosion of an unknown object. The three soldiers were injured in the explosion," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in a statement on their Facebook page.

The injured were immediately taken to a medical facility in Chernihiv. Around 12:10, two of them died from the received injuries. The health condition of the third soldier is satisfactory, the General Staff said.
