U.S. ambassador praises his country's technological cooperation with Ukraine in defense industry
U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt highly praises the potential of Ukrainian-U.S. bilateral technological and industrial cooperation in the defense sector.
Speaking to journalists while visiting the Antonov aircraft building company on the occasion of Aviation and Cosmonautics Day on Tuesday, Pyatt appreciated the enterprise's technological potential and the current level of Ukrainian-U.S. technological cooperation in the aviation industry, noting that over 25 U.S. companies are successfully involved in international technological and industrial cooperation under new projects in the Ukrainian aviation industry.
In particular, Pyatt mentioned the new regional An-148 and An-158 aircraft and also the multipurpose An-132 aircraft that Antonov is developing under a contract with Saudi Arabia.
