EU Commissioner Stylianides urges Ukraine to improve humanitarian aid legislation
EU Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management Christos Stylianides has urged Ukraine to improve legislation in the sphere of humanitarian aid.
The EU Commissioner after a meeting with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Kyiv on Friday said that there is the necessity of improving Ukrainian legal base for the simplified provision of humanitarian aid to the affected regions of Ukraine.
He said that the European Union maintains solidarity with Ukraine and its people in the hard times for them. The European Union expressed support to Ukraine's reformatory efforts and the steps made in this direction in the past months.
