Breakthrough is possible at 'Normandy Quartet' talks in Minsk – EU Commissioner
The European Commissioner for European Neighborhood and Expansion Policy Johannes Hahn said he hopes that a decisive breakthrough is possible during the 'Normandy Quartet' negotiations on Ukraine, to be held in Minsk on February 11.
"I have a positive sense and hope a breakthrough is possible in the talks on Wednesday. The negotiators on Ukraine understand that it's time to find a way out of the crisis," he told journalists, before a meeting of European Union foreign ministers on Monday.
Russia, Germany, France, and Ukraine have agreed that the time has come to reach a solution to the Ukrainian crisis, Hahn said.
The leaders of Russia, Germany, France, and Ukraine will meet in Minsk to discuss the crisis in Ukraine on Wednesday.
