Militants conduct 36 strikes against ATO positions using grenade launchers, anti-aircraft systems, large-caliber submachine guns - Kyiv
Militants of the self-proclaimed Donetsk (DPR) and Luhansk (LPR) People's Republics opened fire on the Ukrainian army's positions 36 times from Thursday evening to 6:00 a.m. on Friday, using grenade launchers, anti-aircraft systems, large-caliber submachine guns and small arms, the press center the anti-terrorist operation in Donbas has reported.
Of these 36 strikes, 30 targeted Maryinka, Avdiyivka, Novhorodske, Opytne and Pisky, the press center said on its account on a social networking website.
Large-caliber submachine guns and small arms were fired on the village Zaitseve near the city of Artemivsk, and anti-aircraft systems were used against the locality of Novotoshkivske in Luhansk region.
Kyiv also said that multiple-launch rocket systems were twice fired against Krasnohorivka from the direction of Staromykhailivka on Thursday evening. A total of four self-propelled projectiles were launched.
