'Quartet' intends to reach agreement on schedule of withdrawal of weapons above 100mm in Donbas - Lavrov
The foreign minister of the 'Normandy Four' countries have agreed that the schedule of the withdrawal of weapons of calibers less than 100mm in Donbas could be applied as well to weapons of larger calibers, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"We have agreed that the schedule used for the withdrawal of weapons under 100 mm that is successfully implemented now could well be applied to heavier weapons of larger calibers and requested the Contact Group and participants in the working subgroups to consider such possibility and swiftly reach an agreement upon such a schedule for these heavier weapons as well," Lavrov said when speaking following the ministerial meeting of the 'Normandy Quartet'.
