Court seizes UAH 18 mln property of ex-Crimea prosecutors – PGO
Kyiv Pechersky District Court has satisfied the request of investigators of the Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) and seized the movable and immovable property of former Crimean prosecutors.
According to the PGO public relations office, ten vehicles and 25 real estate objects were seized, including apartments in Kyiv, Kherson, and Kryvy Rih.
The estimated cost of the seized property is about UAH 18 million.
The PGO said it is investigating criminal offences committed by former employees of the Crimean prosecutor's office under Part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason – assisting a foreign state and its representatives in conducting subversive activities against Ukraine) which is punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment with the confiscation of property.
