Amendments to laws must ensure holding of elections in Mariupol by year's end – Lutsenko
In order to conduct elections in Mariupol, Donetsk region, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine must find a specific wording and add it to the current laws, leader of Petro Poroshenko Bloc's faction Yuriy Lutsenko has said.
"We must find the wording that will allow Mariupol citizens to make their choice," Lutsenko said on the air of 112.Ukraine TV channel on Sunday.
According to the politician, those will be special amendments "that will begin this year and end this year."
Lutsenko reminded that it would be discussed at the council of the parliamentary coalition scheduled on Monday.
