Mobile generators being connected to residential buildings in Dnipro – mayor
In Dnipro, mobile generators are being connected to residential buildings, said city Mayor Borys Filatov.
"We're resorting to extreme measures. We're simply bringing mobile generators to the buildings and powering them directly," he wrote on Telegram.
According to the mayor, following the latest enemy shelling of energy infrastructure, energy companies are unable to supply power to several districts on the left bank of Dnipro.
"It's 12 degrees below zero outside right now. Even diesel fuel is freezing. But, as you can see in the video, the power engineers, who haven't slept for a whopping 72 hours, are falling asleep right in the cold. We're doing everything we can. I can't say anything else," he emphasized.
As reported, Russia carried out a massive attack on the night of January 8 on Dnipro and Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as in Zaporizhia and Zaporizhia region.
