Ukrainian army reports five truce violations by militants on Thursday
Five violations of the ceasefire by Donbas militants have been registered in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone in eastern Ukraine over the past day, Ukrainian Presidential Administration spokesman for the army operation Andriy Lysenko said.
"There were five episodes of ceasefire violations by the illegal armed units. The hostiles opened small arms and grenade launcher fire in Pisky and Opytne yesterday. An armed provocation was staged in Shyrokyne," he said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Friday.
According to Lysenko, the militia opened random fire on Ukrainian positions in Shyrokyne.
"None of our servicemen were killed or injured in the hostilities in the past 24 hours," he added.
