DPR to start weaponry pullback from contact line on Oct 21, tanks to be first
Illegal armed groups of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) will begin the pullback of weaponry in Donbas three days later than it was planned.
"The pullback will begin not on October 18, but October 21, tanks will be first to be pulled back, then the guns under 100mm in caliber," senior official of the DPR Defense Ministry Eduard Basurin told Interfax on Saturday.
He said the schedule of the pullback was being coordinated with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
Meanwhile, Kyiv said that the pullback of the guns under 100mm in caliber and the mortars under 120mm in caliber should start in the Donetsk region from October 18.
