Putin to be informed on results of Berlin talks – Merkel
Russian President Vladimir Putin will be informed on results of the trilateral talks in Berlin involving the German, French and Ukrainian leaders on Monday, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said.
"We will have a contact with the Russian side in the wake of the talks [] We will speak about this with the Russian president on the phone, and I do not rule out a meeting of four of us [the leaders of the Normandy groups countries]," Merkel told a news conference following the Berlin talks on Monday.
Merkel recalled that participants in the Monday meeting had previously had telephone conversations in the Normandy format. Such conversations will take place in the future if needed, she added.
