Ukrainian Security Service detains two Right Sector members involved in Mukacheve events - Service spokesperson
The Ukrainian Security Service has detained two members of the Right Sector on the counts of involvement in the Mukacheve events, Ukrainian Security Service spokesperson Olena Hitlianska wrote on her Facebook page on Monday night.
"As a result of a special operation, the Ukrainian Security Service has detained two members of the Right Sector from amongst persons involved in the July 11 events in Mukacheve," the report said.
It also noted that the detainees had been hiding from the police and carrying weapons.
The Ukrainian Security Service is carrying out urgent investigative procedures jointly with the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office. The search continues in cooperation with special-purpose units of the Interior Ministry and the National Guard.
