Representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) were among those meeting an evacuation train arriving from Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, at Mukacheve railway station.
"The team of the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Department [Ukrainian Red Cross] was working with families on the spot, providing first aid to all those in need. In addition, rapid response units accompanied the convoys to the place of new residence of the families," the URCS reported on Facebook on Friday.
The URCS clarified that 35 evacuees, including 19 children, were placed in shelters in the villages of Imstychovo and Protyven (Khust district of Zakarpattia region).
