Yatseniuk orders Naftogaz to replace Ukrgazvydobuvannia management, demands MP Yeremeyev repay his debt to company
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has instructed Naftogaz Ukrainy to immediately replace the management team of its subsidiary Ukrgazvydobuvannia and demanded that MP Ihor Yeremeyev should pay a large debt to the company.
The results of the examination of Ukrgazvydobuvannia's financial and economic activities showed that MP Yeremeyev owes UAH 373 million to the company, the government's press service reported.
The management of Ukrgazvydobuvannia did not take steps to return the debt by statutory deadlines.
"Arseniy Yatseniuk in a telephone conversation with Ihor Yeremeyev told him that unless these debts are paid within 72 hours, the police will start criminal proceedings against the companies controlled by Yeremeyev on charges of causing intentional damage to the state," the statement reads.
