Damaged gas pipeline burning near Avdiyivka, Donetsk region - Ukrainian police
A gas pipeline has been damaged by a mortar strike by militants in the Yasynuvata district of Donetsk region, chief of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's branch for the Donetsk region Vyacheslav Abroskin said on his Facebook account on Friday morning.
"A gas pipeline on the territory of the Yasynuvata district, between Krasnohorivka and Novokalynove, was damaged as a result of a mortar strike by the 'militants'. Gas is burning in the immediate vicinity of Avdiyivka," he said.
Reports on injuries are being verified.
The shelling continues, Abroskin said.
