Riga summit's final statements cause very serious discussion – Tusk
The discussion on the Easter Partnership summit's final statement was very difficult, President of European Council Donald Tusk has said.
He said this when asked whether giving the prospect of membership to the countries that have signed association agreements was likely.
According to him, the EU is living up to its promises, but there's a difference between these promises and the expectations of citizens.
No one said that Eastern Partnership would lead to automatic EU membership, Tusk said.
