Ukrainian Security Service: Two Russian servicemen indicted for involvement in terrorism
Ukrainian investigators have officially notified two Russian military servicemen captured recently near Schastia, Luhansk region, of being suspected of setting up a terrorist group or organization, Markiyan Lubkivsky, an adviser to the Ukrainian Security Service chief, said on Facebook on Wednesday.
"I am informing you that Ukrainian investigators on the evening of May 19 personally notified Capt. Yerofeyev and Sgt. Alexandrov, servicemen of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian armed forces, of being suspected of committing crimes covered by Ukrainian Criminal Code Article 258.3, based on involvement in terrorist activities of the so-called LPR [the self-proclaimed Luhansk people's republic]," Lubkivsky said.
