Seven officers killed in fighting in east Ukraine - Ukrainian Security Service
Seven Ukrainian security officers have been killed and 62 injured, eleven of them severely, during the military operation in eastern Ukraine, Markiyan Lubkivsky, an advisor to the head of the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU), has said.
"The war claimed the lives of seven fallen SBU officers, among whom is Ruslan Luzhevsky, the first Hero of Ukraine in the SBU history... We have 62 injured, eleven of them severely," he wrote on his Facebook page on Wednesday.
According to Lubkivsky, more than 3,000 security officers took part in the operation.
