Odesa railway explosion equivalent to 3 kg of TNT - police
The explosion that occurred on the railway in Odesa in the early hours of Wednesday has been qualified as sabotage.
The power of the explosive device was equivalent to around three kilograms of TNT, a spokesperson for the Ukrainian Interior Ministry Department for the Odesa railway said on Wednesday.
It was reported that an explosion had occurred on a railway in an industrial area of Odesa around midnight. The explosion damaged 60 centimeters of rail tracks and 90 centimeters of reinforced-concrete sleepers, forming a crater 80 centimeters in diameter and 90 centimeters deep.
No one was killed or injured as result. A Kherson-Odesa train was delayed by two hours 20 minutes.
