Emergency power outages continue in the Ukrainian city of Odesa due to the load on the power system damaged by enemy shelling, City Military Administration head Serhiy Lysak has said.
"The city’s life support systems are operating normally. DTEK continues to apply forced emergency power outages due to the load on the power system damaged by enemy shelling," he wrote in a telegram.
According to him, due to the lack of power supply in Odesa, electric transport has been idle for more than two weeks.
"Today, the Defense Forces successfully worked all night so that Odesa could sleep peacefully. And our utility workers cleaned the city: treated the roads with reagents, removed trees fallen by gusty winds," Lysak added.
