Foreign Ministry not in contact with 89 out of 155 Ukrainians in Nepal
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has said there may be 155 Ukrainian citizens in Nepal, of whom 89 have not been in contact thus far.
"At the moment, the Foreign Ministry has information about 155 citizens of Ukraine, who may be in Nepal, 89 of them have not got in touch so far," Foreign Ministry spokesman Perebyinis wrote on Twitter on Monday.
No fatalities among the Ukrainians in Nepal have been reported.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has ordered the Foreign Ministry and the Defense Ministry to dispatch a plane to Nepal to evacuate Ukrainians affected by the earthquake.
